the good:
bestie jen is having a girl baby.

all of those things in one day... on a monday. overlooooooaaaaad!

a full week of The Project and not an ounce of temptation.

a last minute invite to friday night's mormon tabernacle choir concert.

a weekend's worth of text messages + pictures from robin and brooke vacationing in d.c. i'm practically there.

this sweet message.

dinner with my favorite mexicans: seth, riva, olivia, viola, and gavin baby.

i thought i put the fire out... thought i stopped the madness before the news camera came to our construction site... on my day off. but nooooo. client ryan saved the day. and the news station didn't do too much damage. everyone deserves a little bit of a roast. especially when we kind of deserve it.
the bad:
running at 3 in the afternoon.
...
robin's getting even. i had a weekend with andi and lara. she's got brooke.
...
the power went out on thursday night... bizarrely setting all the clocks in my house back by 27 minutes. what a confusing trick i woke up to on friday morning.
...
parking downtown for a conference center event... 21,000 crazy mormons swooping up every parking spot in a 4 block radius... which left me running barefoot through parking garages, city blocks and temple square to get to my seat before the closed the doors. there's nothing prettier than pink lipstick and sweat.
the ugly:
my secret keeping skills are seriously being put to the test right now.
