best birthday EVER!

the last of the photos from the weekend have trickled in.  here's more proof that the mostly-spontaneous visit from andi and lara came and went in pure happiness style.
all in the name of andi's 29th birthday celebration.

we did all the things we do best:

i baked.

we painted nails.
i created a rough and final draft of an itinerary for our big day.

lara + i introduced andi to the real housewives of new york and new jersey

{she stared at the tv without blinking or recognizing the sound of her husband's voice calling her attention.  a true convert.}

lara ran 8 miles while we slept.

we cupcaked.
andi got a new face at bobbi brown.
i screamed with a stranger.

lara dated.

we ate four times.

five, if you're counting the cupcakes.

i squoze in a mid-day meeting at the office.

we definitely ate our hearts out at cafe rio.

we stayed up too late.

lara + andi purchased at hip + humble.

we laughed.

and, the point of it all:

we sat on the blanket and sang our hearts out to the soundtrack of our college careers.

as andi so proudly proclaimed in her first ever facebook status update:
