the good, the bad, and the ugly.

the good:

a really busy work schedule. spring has sprung and road construction is back in action.

flight booked to san diego to see little mason man.

i'm in idaho with sophie + trevor + oksana + rebecca.

tax return: deposited.

i read the charlie sheen people magazine - cover to cover.

a 7 a.m. visit to the dentist.  normally not that exciting.... especially at 7 a.m.... but jen the hygienest and i have a thing.  it's like therapy/bff catch up/girl talk/teeth cleaning all in one.  the fact that i only get to go to the dentist twice a year is a bummer.

the line-up for celebrity rehab has been announced.

i put out a call for help on facebook and 3213367 men came to my rescue.  and just like that, two hours and 28 comments later, i became the proud owner of a samsung 40-inch 1080p 240hz lcd hdtv. whatever that means.

i discovered {and published} a new recipe for cauliflower cheddar soup. 

the bad:

the oscars were tragically boring and i forfeited my perfect-score title with this year's predictions.

airfare to san diego washington dc everywhere is ridiculous.

there's this guy who calls me everyday.  but i don't have answers for him yet.  instead of leaving me a message, he calls back twice more and then leaves a message. i wish he wouldn't do that.

sometimes i feel like a doormat.  a really capable, useful, willing, helpful doormat with a lot of resources at my fingertips.

i thought i was getting a killer deal on my new tv.... until i had to fork over $109 for shipping.  i'm told it's still a good deal..... but spending any amount of money on big, black electronics with chords and wires does nothing for me.

try as i might, i can't figure out how to be friends/act natural with the boy-who-used-to-kiss-me... he seems to have it all figured out.... and i swear he thinks he's doing me a favor by giving me so many opportunities to practice on him.  someone tell me how to have a saturday night out on the town with someone who's not your boyfriend but used to be.... and just ACT NATURAL.    

the ugly:

sophie stopped breathing and turned blue.  and now she's at the hospital.  overnight.
