wardrobe journal.

it's the silliest thing,

but.

i have this book -

it started as a travel journal when i went to ukraine in 2006.

but the subsequent pages are filled with lists

of the clothes i wear when i'm on vacation.

silllllly, right?!

i didn't mean to start this journal,

it was more of a planning tool

{after all, i'm an organizer...}

but.

now i have record of every single vacation i've taken in the last five years.

complete with weather forecast

people i'll see

things i'll do

and

most importantly

what i'm wearing.

i start every packing session, sitting on my bed, pencil in hand, open suitcase in front of me, staring into my closet {and mostly the laundry pile on the window seat}

and there i plan my wardrobe,

checking things off as they go in the suitcase.



dumb.

weird.

but i'm a planner.
