picking up steam and emailing celebrities.

it's pretty exciting around here.

remember like three days ago when i was more excited about the bloggers give back project than that life changing date i was about to go on?

oh, wait: i still am.

and remember how bgb time moves along like 14 times faster than dog years?

oh, wait: it still does.

since then, we've added a kajillion more auction items

and the list of participants keeps getting cooler and cooler...

famous and more famous.

all because we've got the guts to ask the celebrities.

pioneer woman.

shabby apple.

krazy coupon lady.

i'm even going to throw busy bee lauren in there. she was the nicest i talked to. srsly.

rockstar diaries.

... and i'm still working on cjane. crossing my fingers.  crossing, crossing...

every day we wrack our brain of the "blog celebrities" - they really do exist - we could ask to enlist in the cause... and everyday our gutsiness level goes up... and everyday, these blog celebs blow my mind with their kindness. 

"not just one, but i'll give you two."  

for real?!

i can only imagine the number of times they're asked to give things away... and they do!

miss ruby sue said it best when she closed her reply with:

these emails stream in at 2, 3, 4 a.m.... and it's THE BEST surprise to wake up to.  equally happy, is jenna - miss charity mastermind.  what a thrill we've {and everyone involved} gotten from making this happen. even at 4 a.m.

four days, my friends.  four days.

won't you please spread the word.  imagine how much cooler this would be if not just my people, or jenna's people, or the rest of the bgb people's people heard about it... but if your people heard about it, too.
