love notes and well wishes: a sweet baby shower.

little brother trevor and his wifey oksana are expecting the first ever bennion GIRL BABY in february...

so i offered myself and my sisterly/auntly duty up to throw a baby shower for sweeeeet baby sophie.

i'm going to love her. i just know it.

i don't want to brag or anything... i mean... i've gotta maintain a decent level of humility... but

i throw a helluva party.

instead of a sign in book, i wrapped an empty frame with with loads of baker's twine and clothes pins.

our visitors left sweet notes and happy thoughts for mother + baby.

ugh.  these are out of order.  we ate.  then played games.  THEN opened presents.

but.  sweet baby sophie got lots of great things.

rexburg is a wealth of cute and saturday's visitors proved it.

i barely believe in shower games.

but, if you've gotta play games... you play good games.  clever games.

you also wear matte orange lips at a baby shower.

it's all about the food, right?

cupcakes.

cake pops

chocolate covered pretzels

homemade oreos

animal crackers

clear plastic bags and ribbons to twist tie.

voila.

treats + party favors in one.

it was delicious.

it was funny.

it was sweet.

and before too long there will be a baaaaaaaaby!

i'm peeing my pants with excitement.
