got this email last night from jenna:

hey everyone!

i've been thinking a lot this year about how i'd love to get our friends/blogging community together and create sort of a virtual way to help a family in need. whether it's providing a christmas for them, donating service to their cause or a basket of handmade crafts and gifts from various talented people we know. i'd love to do something different & unique then the "please give money" approach!
just wanted to throw this idea out there and see if you have any ideas on how to approach this and to see if you know of a family in need or have read a blog of someone struggling.
i'm excited to unite so many different groups of friends & bloggers in a good cause this christmas season!
