I'm going to LOSE it!

for real. my mind is about to explode.

on our last photoshoot, matt suggested that i be shooting in RAW. and by suggested i mean he turned my camera settings to RAW. which is fine. i have heard the term. i have NO idea what it means but i assume it's good cause him and tiff are both shooting in raw...i've read about it before. good quality pictures i think?? highest quality or something...?? whatever. it doesn't matter. cause i'll just install the nikon disk i have been avoiding since i bought my camera and all will be good in the world. right???

WRONG!

i can't make it work!!! i can see the pictures. they exist. they open in one of the three programs i have installed today. but i can't do anything with them. i can't edit them. i can't save them as jpegs, i can't more them to a different file. i can't do anything!

WHY!?? WHY!!!!!!?????????????????

tab doesn't know. tiff doesn't know. matt doesn't know....
so tomorrow i am going to see if tiff can open them on her computer, save them on her computer and then give them to me. then i will promptly turn my camera back to the highest jpeg setting until i figure out if it's my memory card or my computer that is causing the problem. ARG!!! i hate not being able to figure this out!!

plus there are pictures on there that i need to show you!!! wish me luck!
