i usually gravitate to the super depressing, dramatic films... you know, the ones that are nominated for academy awards that no one {but jen and i} have seen because they play in really obscure theaters...

but this one... oh, this one.

i've always kind of hated cameron diaz. still do. but for some reason, she was bizarrely tolerable for me in this movie.

maybe i was completely charmed by the idea of a widow baby daddy... "who sews and has a cow".

or maybe it was all the christmas fettuccine.

i think's the scene where iris simpkins gets on the plane and checks her blackberry for an email from jasper bloom at 11:16 am!

destiny, i tell you. i was meant to love that movie.
